Fan Done
From Heidi, aka FanGirl of Fan DoneI've been involved in various fandoms for over 20 years (anime, X-Files, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Due South, and most recently Firefly/Serenity). In all of these fandoms, I've always found creative, fun people who know what they want. And when they can't find what they want - they make it.
Fan Done is here for those fans to hopefully find something they want, and if not, let me know and I'll see if I can get it made.
For example, I really wanted a CTSFM wristband. I found a place that would do it - 100% silicone, beautiful marbled colors, no character limitation ... and a 1,000 unit minimum order. So, as I wear the most expensive piece of jewelry I own, I search for other people who wear brown coats who might like to wear one as well.
And that's what I do. I find stuff or make stuff or concept stuff that I personally as a fan of a certain sci-fi tv show and then movie would like to have. And then I offer the rest up for sale on this website. Sales of products also help fund fan activites, such as paying for a dealer's table at a con, or having fliers printed for distribution. Eventually I'll be involved in other fandoms, and the information and product lines here at Fan Done will expand.

Marian Call

Marian Call is a nerd extraordinaire living in Anchorage, Alaska, and touring the country as a singer-songwriter. She has been singing in public since age three, and since that time she has performed music in nearly every genre -- classical art song, musicals, gospel, pop, country, rock, folk, jazz, and all kinds of choral music. She writes songs that appeal to all audiences, but nearly always encodes a deeper, encrypted layer of meaning for fannish friends who know what to listen for. Though new on the scene, she now plays for Browncoat and BSG events around the country. Her new album "Got to Fly" was commissioned by Quantum Mechanix, Inc., and consists entirely of songs about Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and a life of fandom. Meet Marian online anytime at www.mariancall.com or http://twitter.com/mariancall.
